About

As a lifelong gamer, naturally I began my programming career in games development, during which I shipped a title for iOs and Android called "Adventures of Ai". After completing the project, I found an opportunity in education and worked in the classroom for 4 years.

As an educator, I witnessed the powerful impact technology could have on schools for students and teachers alike. I found myself developing several programs to assist me with my day-to-day duties and well as wrote games that tailored to the lesson content that engaged my students and encouraged teamwork and ownership of their learning. I also taught a game design course after school, introducing students to the fundamentals of programming.

This experience made me realize that I could best serve the education community through technology. To expand upon my coding palette, I completed General Assembly's full-stack web development program and have been working with the latest web technologies and frameworks to create meaningful software. I have a particular interest in education technology, a perfect nexus where I can bring my love of games, my experience in education, and my programming knowledge together to serve a greater purpose.
